I like caring for seniors because I believe they deserve more attention than they normally receive. I'm looking for a job where I can give support and compassion to others in need. I started caring for seniors when my family member became ill with dementia over 10 years ago. In my spare time, I like to read. walk my rescued dog, and do yoga. I raised three children on my own, one of them who is a mentally challenged adult now living in a group home. I am comfortable with pets, as I have a rescued large dog. My skills include having mentally challenging conversations with seniors and making them laugh. I can cook, clean, read to them and walk with them and take them to outings or doctors. I can help feed and dress them and keep their space clean.

Barbara is a caring, thoughtful, and thorough caregiver. She has a special needs adult child who requires assistance for many things. Barbara lovingly cares for her daughter and ensures her needs are met. She also provides mental and physical stimulation activities. I, without a doubt, would leave my loved ones under her care.
