I had total care of her driving to doctors appointments, food shopping, errands, took her to her physical therapy and rehab, also did meal preparation. My present part time position is caring for a lovely lady with alzheimers in Amherst, NH. I was also employed as a companion and caregiver for several other families. Besides my work in adult companion care, I worked in the corporate world and have a college degree. I enjoy pets and my interests include going to the theatre and museum, crafts, music, painting and healthy organic cooking. I have excellent references. Found Barbara on Care.Com. She was everything i was hoping for in a caregiver for my Dad and then some. Arrived early every day and stayed late. Treated my father and his cat as if they were her family. My father absolutely adored Barbara. She was beyond thorough with everything she did. I hope to be able to keep in touch with her as she truly was one of the most caring individuals I've met.
