Hey everyone! I'm Barbara! A little bit about me: I'm currently in college as an Elementary education major. I've been working with kids since I was 19. I first started off working with 1st graders at a summer camp, I was their group counselor and I absolutely loved every second of that job. Of course since it's a summer camp, I eventually had to find a full time job which is when I started with my current job. I've been there for over a year now and I absolutely love it, I work with toddlers so anywhere from ages 1-3. Working with children is honestly such a delight because you get to see them grow and learn so much. Once I finish college i'm looking to become a 1st grade teacher, hoping that will be within the next 2 years!

We love Barbara! She worked with our family off and on for three years, first as a babysitter for my now 8 year old son and 6 year old daughter, and also as a part time nanny for my youngest son when he was 5months to a year. They always had fun when Barbara came over! I loved how she got to know each of them and engaged with them based on their own interests, playing soccer outside or doing art projects in. She would even bring special art supplies to use with my daughter. As a nanny Barbara was always a calm presence which i really appreciated! She was always loving and kind with him, and came up with developmentally appropriate activities. She helped with feedings, put him down for naps, even did our laundry as he slept! If she hadn’t moved away we’d still hire her anytime. Florida you are lucky to have her! We miss you Barbara! 😘
