I started off working full-time in a local nursing home, and after 2 years, I wanted a change and started working for Hospice as a Home Care aide and did that for 10 years. In between, I gained experience working part-time in a local hospital for over 4 years and a adult day care center for 2 years. I love helping people and find it very rewarding. I would love to find a private case that I can do days, evenings or overnights during the week. Some weekend hours when needed. I can provide both professional and personal references. Barb helped with my elderly father for about 11 months until his passing last week. It is difficult to put into words how kind and compassionate Barb always with my Dad, and how calming and supportive she was to myself and my family. Barb was consummate professional, always on time; even with the snow. She never complained, providing personal care services, administering medications on a timely basis, and making sure my father was clean and comfortable. Her kindness and compassion during the final days of my dads life were exceptionally special; for which I will be eternally grateful. I highly recommend Barb to anyone seeking a very special caregiver.
