I have worked in a pre-school with children aged from infants to 3, but mainly spent my time with 2 - 2. 5-year-olds, as an assistant teacher in their classroom. I was then asked, by a parent at that school, if I would consider being their nanny. I was a nanny for that family for two years, looking after their 3-year-old son and 11-month-old baby. The baby later became diabetic and I continued to care for both children until the older one started Kindergarten. I love babies and under fives and am particularly looking for temporary positions, evenings, occasional days, holiday cover etc. I am a former EMT and CCHT - dialysis technician so have a medical background too. I am English but have lived in the States since 2012.
