About Barbara

20 years of experience have taught me that childcare is more than just a job; it's a chance to positively impact young lives and support families. I am one of seven children and started babysitting for my siblings and neighborhood children at the age of 12. I have a background in the medical field as a medical assistant and currently am employed as an educational assistant at NAPLS. My daily role involves working with children with special needs. I have had CPR Training, and I'm comfortable caring for up to two children, ages 4 and up. I'm patient, friendly, and very comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor games, sports, and board games with children. I am willing to prepare simple meals and carpool. I find immense joy in watching children learn and grow, and I would love to bring that same enthusiasm to your family. Ideally I am looking for daytime hours starting this summer, however I am available immediately for evening hours.
