Hello, My name is Barbara and I am 71 years young, with a very youthful spirit ! I am kind, patient, playful, respectable and reliable. I love children and I will take care of yours, as if they were mine. I am very trustworthy. I am very active and fit: working out, walking and taking yoga regularly. I find much joy in being with children ! Originally, I was with a family for 6 years and they had two daughters ages 5 & 6. Before Covid I took care of a 4-month-old baby girl. After, I was a caregiver to an 8-month-old baby boy for nine months. Not to mention, my own Grandchildren too. For 2 1/2 years I was a nanny to twin girls. I started taking care of them at 8 months. Currently, I'm taking care of two 21-month-old boys from when they were 6 months old until May 27, 2026. I have my Early Childhood Education units and taught pre-school for 12 years. Barbara has been watching our son 5 days a week since he was about 6 months as part of a nanny share with another family with a child of the same age. She is so caring. She’s been with us through it all - from supporting their introduction to solids, nap transitions, and learning to crawl, walk and talk. She taught our son critical baby sign language too! She does an amazing job keeping up with the boys and keeping them stimulated and learning. We’ve loved working with her over the past year and a half and are sad to part ways as the boys start preschool. I’d highly recommend Barbara.
