A few months after getting my CNA certificate I traveled to visit my grandparents outside the states. I was able to have fun conversations with them and talk about their life experiences. I conversated and reminisced about the past and it was one of the best times I ever had. I was glad I was able to go to visit them because short while my grandpa passed away. I was setting then that getting my CNA certificate and taking care of the elderly was the best decision I made. Before my CNA certificate, I was a caregiver for the elderly for about 2 years. And I also worked in a nursing home as a dietary aide so I had the privilege of serving the elderly. It will be a great opportunity and take care of your loved ones.
