My sheer interest in caring for seniors is simply my passion to help people. I have gained deeper understanding caring seniors in a manner that every one needs is different. But they all need someone to lend a helping hand. I've been a health care assistant for 9 years, got my Certified Nursing Assistant License in 2012. I have work with several seniors so far. I worked as live in aide and live out cases. I took care of geriatric clients with different needs from Bathing, Dressing, Preparation of meals, Giving Meals, Medicine Schedules, Driving and accompanying Doctors appointments, Food Shopping, Beauty Parlor appointments. For a more serious needs such as Gait abnormalities and recurrent falls, Depression, Fatigue, Cognitive impairment and/or dementia, Behaviors associated with dementia, Urinary incontinence, Reduced strength. Low levels of physical activity. Elderly wound care acute and chronic wound. Giving sponge baths to bed-ridden clients.
