About Avonna

Hi, I'm Avonna! I'm a Registered Nurse, U. S. Army veteran, and experienced caregiver with a passion for helping others maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life at home. I began my healthcare journey as a CNA in 2009, became an LPN in 2022, and graduated as an RN in 2026. My experience includes one-on-one senior care, dementia, diabetes, epilepsy/seizure disorders, wound care, group homes for individuals with disabilities, pediatric school nursing, and caring for veterans. Caregiving has always been more than a job to me. I'm the person who attends doctor appointments, helps communicate with insurance companies, advocates and educates, or simply sits beside a loved one in the hospital so they aren't alone. I understand families can't always be there as much as they want.
