About Avery

Hi families! My name is Avery, and I have over 10 years of childcare experience working with children from newborns through teens. For the past 5+ years, I've worked as a professional nanny caring for infants, toddlers, and school aged children in both full time and part time roles. My passion is working with babies and young children. In addition to my nanny experience, I am DONA trained as both a birth and postpartum doula, have experience as a newborn night nanny, and spent a year living in Paris as an au pair. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have completed early childhood education coursework, giving me a strong understanding of child development and age appropriate care. I am currently a nursing student at UNC working toward becoming a Labor & Delivery nurse. I am off for the summer and excited to spend that time doing what I love most!
