Cultivating unique learning opportunities is a great way for children to explore their own creativity, and I adore watching that learning take place. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work with kids while I'm home for the summer. During the school year I'm a full-time student at the University of Pittsburgh and I'm looking forward to working with kids again this summer. I started working with kids as a babysitter about 6 years ago. Since then I have also worked as a student teacher in local elementary schools. In my spare time, I like to read and I love going on adventures (especially when traveling). One thing you should know about me is that I have Type 1 Diabetes. I wear an insulin pump and a continuous glucose monitor 100% of the time and I'm happy to answer any questions about it.
