Caring for children is nothing new to me as I grew up in a family of six kids as the second oldest! I also started babysitting outside of my home when I was in sixth grade for my neighbors. I have babysat for 11 years for various families, both related and unrelated to me. The children have ranged anywhere from 6 months old to 13 years old. When I was younger I mainly only babysat for a few hours, but now as I have gotten older, I have babysat for a few families for up to a week, while the parents went on vacation. I do not lack experience, that's for sure!
