About Avery

Hello! I am a graduate student who just moved to Ann Arbor. I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work, concentrating in Child and Family Welfare. I have extensive experience working with children and am passionate about fostering a child-led, supportive, and fun care experience. I previously worked as a full-time nanny for two different families, each with two children, in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have also worked as a preschool teacher and as an elementary school substitute teacher. My undergraduate degree is in Psychology with a concentration in Child Development and I am also CPR and First Aid Certified. I love being outdoors, doing crafts, playing games, and cooking. I am happy to care for children doing the actives that they love most! I'm also available to provide assistance with cooking, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision.
