About Avery

I am playful, organized, and level-headed. I am experienced in individual and group child care in a wide range of settings and with kids/adolescents ages 0-20. As a babysitter I have worked with individual families and neighborhood groups. I have been an overnight camp counselor, unit director, and program director. I am a social worker with experience in home-based mental health care and currently work at an emergency shelter for unhoused adolescents. I plan to pursue my masters degree in social work fall of 2024. In my free time I love to play outside, cook, bake, and make art. I center joy, creativity, consistency, and safety in my childcare work. I would love the opportunity to get to know your family!
