About Avery

I'm currently pursuing two degrees in integrative biology and biological systems engineering from K-State. I'm also a DASSA Peer Mentor and work for the Sunset Zoo as an educational program assistant! I'm looking for a job that can work with my schedule as a full time student. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I would babysit and tutor in the evenings for local families. In the summer of 2022, I worked for an environmentally based summer camp as a camp counselor! I am currently fingerprinted and background checked in Florida and Kansas to work in a childcare facility. In my spare time, I like to spend time outside, play with my dog, Luna, and hang out with my friends. One thing you should know about me is I believe that having a positive and encouraging environment around kids is key to helping them develop into their own person. I strive to create this supportive environment around your children.
