About Avery

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. Many years of experience supporting students and adults in English and Business, and Advertising, I focus on problem-solving skills. I assess each student's unique learning style through active observation, adapting my methods--from visual aids to interactive discussions--to suit their needs. With challenging concepts, I break them into manageable steps and celebrate every small success to maintain momentum. I believe open communication with families is essential to fostering a collaborative environment where students are supported and confident. Seeing a student's self-assurance grow as they master new material is the most rewarding part of my work. Whether we meet at your home, the library, or a local coffee shop, I look forward to helping your student thrive. I also have a BS in Graphics and Advertising background for Art tutoring.
