About Avery

Hi! I've been working with children ages 9 months to 12 years old for over 10 years through babysitting, summer camps, preschools, daycares, and public schools. My approach to childcare is rooted in patience, empathy, and respect for each child's individuality. I am experienced in Montessori principles and believe in fostering confidence, independence, curiosity, and critical-thinking skills through meaningful, age-appropriate activities. At the same time, I know that childhood should be fun! I love being actively engaged with kids through games, crafts, outdoor activities, and imaginative play. I'm happy to support families with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and pet care. I am CPR certified, have reliable transportation, and am comfortable working with children of all ages and needs. My goal is to create a safe and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and enjoy being themselves. I look forward to getting to know your family!
