About Avery

Hi there! My name is Avery and I am so excited to start working with animals again! I grew up in Portland, Oregon, but I am now continuing my education here at the University of Utah. I have an energetic chocolate lab at home named Olive and it's very sad to leave her while I'm at school, which is why I want to care for animals! I have had three dogs (2 golden retrievers who passed) many fish, and am in the works on getting a cat for next semester :) I have a great deal of experience working with animals. I worked at my local pet groomer back home and it helped me learn a lot about caring for animals. I also have pet sit for friends and families since I was a sophomore in high school, and still do whenever I'm home for the same families. I can also do other tasks as well, whatever is needed!
