As a certified teacher since 2015 with a BS in Education, minor in Special Education, and Master of Education degree, my services would include providing instructional support and encouragement with homework help, designing personalized additional mini lessons to supplement areas needing better understanding, and assessing to determine what areas need the most academic support. This also includes emotional and behavior support, teaching strategies for managing stress, supplemental activities such as movement breaks, and any additional support for students. I have plenty of resources and strategies to share with parents as well. I have years of experience working with students such as learning and behavior disabilities, English Language Learners, students performing below grade level, etc. *********I also offer a service helping high schoolers prepare for the SAT

There aren't enough words to describe how much Avery has positively impacted our boys, not only with preschool academics, but also (and most importantly at this age and during this pandemic) with their emotional intelligence and development. Ms Avery goes above and beyond to address my oldest child's (5) needs as it relates to his impulse control and ADHD while shifting gears to address my younger son's (3) age specific needs. Her communication is wonderful, she's punctual, responsible, caring and absolutely the most wonderful teacher!!
