About Averi

Hi! I'm Averi, a 25-year-old Raleigh native with over eight years of childcare experience caring for children from newborns to pre-teens. My current family will no longer need my services come August, so I'm searching for my new family while working on getting my pre- and postpartum doula certification. In addition to nannying, I have experience as an assistant teacher in infant and toddler classrooms and as a behavioral technician supporting children and families. These roles helped me develop strong skills in communication, patience, organization, and child development. Outside of childcare, I am a professional musical theatre performer. Creativity, music, imagination, and play are a big part of my approach with children. I also love crafts, reading, spending time outdoors, and exploring nature. I'm an animal lover with a Great Dane named Velma and two cats, so pets are always a welcome bonus! I have reliable transportation and can provide references and a résumé upon request.
