About Averie

Hello! I hold a deep passion for human rights, children's rights and education, environmental awareness, and conservation. I believe that education, access to resources, and promoting diversity are essential to improve communities. As Whitney said, "I believe the children are our future", and would love to help raise children who thrive as active members of society. I have experience as a wilderness camp counsellor and lifeguard, a babysitter, and a tutor plus more! I am also certified in first aid and CPR! I have some experience with children with adhd, children on the spectrum, and children with learning disabilities. I am always willing to adapt and learn as well! I am proficient in American Sign Language and know some Spanish as well!
