About averie

Hi! My name is Averie, and I'm a student with a genuine passion for working with children. I've had the opportunity to work closely with children with disabilities, which has deeply shaped my approach to care. It's taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of meeting each child where they are. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to grow. I'm dependable, attentive, and bring a calm, positive energy into every home. I have been around children my whole life as the eldest sibling, which naturally gave me early experience caring for and supporting kids. I began officially babysitting at around 13 years old, when I started my own babysitting business and began working with local families. Since then, I have cared for children ranging in age from newborns to 15 years old. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering, reading, singing, arts and crafts, solving puzzles, and walking.
