About Averie

I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development, and I bring that passion to every day of my work as a childcare provider. With three years of experience, I'm not only comfortable caring for up to three children at a time, but I'm also comfortable enforcing household rules. I'm patient, calm, creative, and imaginative, and I use those traits to create a nurturing and engaging environment for children. I love playing outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I understand that communication is key, so I provide regular updates to parents via text or phone call, and I follow their preferred communication method to ensure they're always in the loop. My education includes a high school degree, and I've been taught through experience CPR and First Aid. I do not have a car, but I'm comfortable with pets, and I'm happy to help with cooking and meal preparation, light housekeeping, and crafts.
