About Averey

Hi! My name is Averey. I'm 22 and love working with kids!! I recently graduated from College where I studied counseling and student services with a minor in social work. My long term goal is to be a child and family social worker. I'm the oldest sister of four- ages 20, 14, and 6. Professionally, I've worked with kids for the past five years in many setting ages 2-18. Some of my experience includes volunteering at a preschool, the boys and girls club, afterschool tutoring, and more. I also previously worked as a camp counselor at an ability inclusive camp where 90% of the campers had a physical or cognitive disability. My most recent experience includes working as a camp counselor in bloomington for the past two seasons. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I don't smoke, I have my license and a reliable vehicle. I love to read, play games, craft and be outdoors (I LOVE to swim and am very comfortable around water!). Feel free to reach out!
