About Avendia

Hello! My name is Avendia and I'm an adaptable, reliable, and fun 22-year-old! I recently earned my degree in Music Therapy at Pacific University, and am headed to a kid-focused internship at the end of September! Growing up as an older sister with a large extended family (and a teachers kid), I have years of babysitting experience. I have taken childhood development courses and have months of work experience as a student and Summer Camp Director at a School of Rock working with ages 3-17. I'm CPR and BLS certified, own a car, & most importantly, a passion for working with kids! My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing all sorts of crafts, baking, pretend play, musicking, and outings. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I love to make music, read, and spend quality time with friends. I really look forward to meeting you!
