About Ava

I've loved dogs my entire life and have grown up with them since I was a toddler. Since December 2024, l've worked at Pawscienda in Montpelier, VA, where I've been trained as a Lead Kennel Technician. In that role, I care for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and even the occasional bunny! My experience includes feeding, administering medications, monitoring behavior and health, maintaining clean and safe environments, and providing plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. I also have a 1-year-old, fully trained puppy of my own, which has given me even more hands-on experience with training, patience, and understanding a dog's individual needs. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs special medical care, I'II make sure they receive the same attention and care I'd want for my own.
