About Ava

Hello! I am a 24-year-old grad student getting my Master's in Library and Information Science at UW. My professional goal is to become a children's librarian either in the public or private sector. I love getting kiddos excited about reading! Because of my class schedule, my availability will change roughly every 3 months (each school quarter) and I am only interested in part-time work at the moment. I absolutely love working with kiddos! I have been a babysitter/nanny since I was 14 and have worked with ages 1-15. I was also a swim instructor for 3 years and am currently a remote tutor for 5th graders. I am a big reader, love animals, and I am up for anything outdoors! I am happy to help out with light household chores and homework, and have my own car for transportation.
