Hi there, my name is Ava and I am a school speech-language pathologist offering part-time childcare over the summer! I have been providing childcare since I was a teenager and was most recently a nanny for 3 kids 3 and under (see recommendations). Per my career, I have over 300 hours working in pediatrics as an SLP. So, I have a lot of experience with kiddos! I am CPR/AED certified and have my own RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION (although it won't show up on my profile). I have intermediate proficiency in Spanish. Outside of work, I love to read, craft, and sing. Ava is a great nanny, and sparks of her greatness shine through even within initial messages with her. She responded to our initial request for help with intentionality and direct responses to prompts in our post as opposed to a blanket copy and paste message. That intentionality has shown up in her care for our family as she has been proactive in finding ways to keep little ones engaged, and eagerly awaiting her return when she leaves for the day. It has been a pleasure working with her, and any family lucky enough to match with her would not regret it!
