I have spent the past 8 years caring full-time for my niece and two nephews, growing alongside them from the moment they were born, through infancy, toddlerhood, and now elementary school. My role as "AvAv" (Aunty/Nanny/Caregiver) has been the joy of my life and has given me the unique experience of supporting children through every stage of early development with patience and understanding while also keeping a busy household running smoothly, efficiently, and with love. Starting in September, all three of my sister's children will be in school during the day and I will be looking for a morning care role while I finish my prerequisite classes for nursing school. As I prepare for my transition to become an RN and work as a Labor & Delivery Nurse, caregiving is at the heart of what I do and I would love the opportunity to share my experience with another family in need of that support.
