About Ava

I genuinely love working with kids and building relationships where they feel safe, understood, and cared for. Being around children brings me so much joy, and some of my happiest experiences have come from getting to know their personalities, making them laugh, and becoming someone they trust. I'm studying Psychology at the University of Michigan with a minor in Education and hope to become a child psychologist. I have experience through babysitting, preschool volunteering, mentoring, and working as a camp counselor, including with children who need additional behavioral or developmental support. I'm also CPR certified. Spending part of my week with kids would honestly bring so much light and happiness to my college experience, and I would love to find a family I can form a genuine connection with.
