About Ava

Hi, I'm Ava! I'm currently looking for a full-time summer care job in New England. I will be graduating from Wake Forest University in May with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and am planning to travel to Spain for the next school year to work as an English teacher. I have an extensive amount of caregiving experience and have assisted a wide array of children and families. As of right now, I am a part-time Registered Behavior Technician and work one on one with children with autism. Additionally, I've worked as a camp counselor for three summers. I spent two of those summers mainly working with neurotypical children and this past summer I spent working at a sleep away camp with special needs children. After my gap year in Spain, I am planning to attend graduate school for clinical mental health counseling with a specialization in play therapy. I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, yoga (anything outdoors), cooking, organizing, and arts and crafts. Please reach out with any questions!
