About Ava

I did in home clinician work for kids ages 3-21 however I did gain experience working with 6-10-month-old while in one of the homes. I have experience with toilet training, teaching the alphabet and reading, sibling dynamics, as well as helping out around the home (washing dishes, tidying up). My job as a BHP had me work with the child on goals and objectives through fun activities that I would have to come up with. These activities would in some way have to push the child to grow. While this past job was more clinical, what I loved about it was the personable connection I could forge with the families and children. Children-watching them grow and change- it's one of the most wonderful things to witness. I now work in a nursery that has given me lots of experience with ages 1-3 providing comfort, structure, and playtime.
