About Ava

Hi there, my name is Ava and I am an energic and compassionate 25-year-old living on Roosevelt Island! I have a 9-5 job working in the non-profit/social work sector and am looking for some evening and weekend childcare positions. My favorite age group are toddlers, but I truly love kids of all ages! My focus is giving your child a safe, supportive, creative space to learn, grow, and play. I love crafting, pretend play, baking, and encouraging independent (supervised) playtime. I am patient, kind-hearted, and am more than willing to work with you on any challenges your child(ren) may have. In my personal time I love to cook and bake, read, and run. I am fully vaccinated and have a NYS license and a personal vehicle. I am comfortable driving in and around NYC with children, so pick-ups and drop-offs won't be an issue!
