About Ava

Hi! My name is Ava. I've been babysitting for families throughout high school and college, and I've always loved caring for others-especially children with different abilities. For the past five years, I've worked with children in special education and volunteered with Special Olympics, which has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and a passion for inclusive care. I currently work as a caregiver with Right at Home Knoxville during the school year, where I assist elderly clients with their daily routines and companionship. I also pet sit, have two dogs of my own, and foster dogs, so I'm very comfortable with all types of pets. I'm currently a junior at the University of Tennessee and am pursuing a career in pediatric occupational therapy. I'd describe myself as reliable, compassionate, and attentive.
