About Ava

Bringing six years of experience working with children, I've spent summers at sleep-away camps, taught swimming, and worked in day cares. Currently pursuing my master's degree in social work, I'm driven by a passion to support children in foster care. I find joy in watching children learn and grow, and I'm committed to creating a nurturing environment. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I follow the parents' lead on household rules and communication preferences. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games with children of all ages, from infants to preteens and beyond. I am comfortable caring for up to four children. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family.
