About Ava

I am a rising senior at American University and have three years of babysitting experience under my belt from two lovely families in Washington DC. Prior to that, I have four years of childcare experience being a teacher's assistant for young dance classes at my ballet studio growing up. I am friendly and approachable yet quiet and calm. I am extremely organized and clean, and enjoy cooking and cleaning. I also not afraid to enforce rules in a positive and uplifting way, and focus on the safety of the child. I am very communicative and always keep the parent updated during the babysitting job. Having loved my babysitters growing up, I want to provide the same experience to the children I babysit - I value quality time together by playing games, going outside, cooking, and watching movies. I enjoy socializing with the children rather than sitting with them on a device all night.
