About Austin

Hi! I am a senior pursuing a double major in Journalism and Art History with a minor in Political Science. I have interned for a fashion public relations firm, a magazine company, a book publishing agency, and currently an art gallery in SoHo. These experiences have strengthened my writing, research, editing, and communication skills. I am an avid reader and listen to audiobooks or read physical books at least five days a week. As a journalism student, I enjoy helping others organize ideas, build arguments, and become more confident writers. Since 2019, I have also babysat for neighborhood families and family friends and have experience mentoring students, including directing a special-needs community theater production in high school. I am patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping young people develop strong writing and critical-thinking skills. Best, Austin
