About Austin

I'd describe my personality as patient, detailed, and thoughtful I like tutoring because teaching comes naturally, and helping people makes me feel accomplished. I'm looking for a job that is consistently challenging. I started tutoring when in college Calculus. I had to teach freshmen what differentials are. In my spare time, I like to do woodworking, play violin, and hang out with my wife and dog. I believe memorization isn't extremely useful, and being consistent with learning and education is going to create an intuition that enables problem solving. I will tackle each challenge by using a similar framework, and help break down large and challenging concepts into bite sized and manageable pieces. My skills include re-framing concepts, developing study plans, and step-by-step guiding.
