About Austen

Hello !! My name is Austen, and I'm an actor, musician, teaching artist, and yoga instructor. I've worked on Broadway and all over the world, but my love of fostering young minds and cultivating a supportive environment for self expression keeps me coming back to the childcare & tutoring space. I currently live in Flatbush, BK and am looking to build a relationship with families in the BK area. Parents I've worked with in the past would describe me as "reliable, nurturing, playful, & intelligent." I'm equipped to manage everything from homework help & dinner-time to hours on an imaginary pirate ship. I also play the guitar & am always down for a sing along! The balance I strike between responsible caretaker & inventive playmate is what makes me special. I look forward to meeting you & your kids.
