About Aumajuss

I like working with kids because I want to help foster their ability to be unique individuals who feel confident in whatever they pursue. Kids are unique in that many experiences they have big and small can be formative despite our perceptions as adults. I want kids to feel safe knowing they can get help from people they trust to feel empowered no matter what happens! I started working with kids when I was in High School as a babysitter. I continued this work in college while earning a degree in psychology. After graduating I worked as a licensed counselor where I helped at risk and disabled youth. I recently worked with youth of differing access needs at an accessibility focused summer camp to ensure kids with differing levels of access needs were able to have fun. In my spare time, I like to learn the bass, make art, and ride my bike!
