I'm a mom of 4 grown kids with 30+ years of parenting experience. I'm also a former nursery/preschool teacher, have a Master's degree in social work, and am trained in lactation consulting and therapeutic puppetry. I am certified to work with children ages birth through 7 using a holistic model of human development. I have nearly 40 years experience working in schools and other settings with children (babies through high school), both in social work and teaching positions. I have provided magical preschool experiences to dozens of children. I believe childhood is a fleeting, sacred time in life that is to be protected and nurtured, and that time to play freely and to imagine are the cornerstones to a healthy present and future life. In addition, I have a deep respect for elders, and those who are are differently abled and am able to connect with people of all ages and abilities.
