About Audrey

32 years old, originally from California, I moved to Colorado in 2010 after falling in love with the mountains. I love all things outdoors, especially hiking, gardening, and spending time with my dog, Boone! After graduating from WSCU, I gained experience in the nursing field first as a CNA, and then as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse). It was while working the night shift at a nursing home that I had the opportunity to participate in a children's trailer park ministry during the day. This experience led me to realize my passion for working with children and helped open my eyes to the needs within my community including physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Motivated by this passion, I began working at Stepping Stones Children's Center which gave me the opportunity to learn more about early childhood, and develop skills as a teacher. Together with working at a Montessori school, I have four years of experience in early childhood.
