In one year I've logged 2, 500 hands-on hours caring for people with Parkinson's, ALS, dementia, Alzheimer's, cancer, diabetes, paralysis, and mobility challenges, men and women alike. I know how to keep someone safe, comfortable, and respected, and I firmly believe good care and a good laugh go together. I'm a CNA with CPR, advanced dementia, mental health, and diabetes nurse delegation training, plus Hoyer lift certification. I handle transfers, personal care, medication reminders, meal prep, and light housekeeping, and I keep detailed notes so families and nurses are never left guessing.
