My cat Hercules has been sick for two years now, being deaf in one ear and having a lot of bowel problems. He's a very old kitty so it can be quite hard for others to care for him at times. He's sometimes too quiet and it breaks my heart to see him depressed at times so it was difficult for me to leave him at home while I worked in the ER. I decided to find a sitter and Asmaa and I had a mutual friend so when I heard she had a kitty of her own, I wanted to try her out. She's been so patient and kind to Hercules, even when he can be a pain (he meows very loud when he's uncomfortable, which happens sometimes), and has always been gentle with her care for him, from giving him his meds, to bathing him, to playing & showing love. Now, I can't read his mind but I see Asmaa's one of the only other people I know that he's comfortable enough to cuddle with or walk up to. They've created a bond so I'm very sad to see her leave LA, but I know she'll make another pet and pet owner so happy!!
