About Ashlyn

I recently graduated with my Master's in Psychology (ABA) from UNR and I've been working with children for 10+ years. I've had the pleasure of working with children of all ages and abilities in various settings. My experience includes working in therapeutic environments where I've used evidence-based strategies to teach social-emotional skills, potty training, sleep routines, and more. I've also had the joy of nannying and babysitting for families in Reno/Tahoe. I've also spent several years as a director at an educational clinic with WCSD, and have a diverse background in tutoring, in home live in supports and early intervention. When working with children, I focus on creating a fun and nurturing environment while keeping safety a top priority. I believe in following the child's lead and using play and socialization as key tools for learning. I work closely with families to make sure their expectations and routines are maintained while their children are in my care.
