About Ashlyn

Hello, I'm Ashlyn and I'll be relocating to Davenport in late June. I'm 34 years old and I've been working with children for over 15 years. Most recently, I was a nanny for a family with 3 children for 6 years. I've cared for newborns through school-age children. Prior to this position, I worked in Special Education for 6 years with children and young adults ages 2-26. I have a Bachelor's degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University. I find educating and caring for children to be one of the most extraordinary experiences in the world. I provide encouragement, structure, and guidance, while promoting independence confidence, and creativity. I understand the importance of creating an environment that is nurturing and secure, but also promotes safety and discipline. I'm looking to begin work in the beginning of July.
