About Ashlyn

I have been working in child care for approximately five years. I have also obtained my associates degree in early childhood development. My experience has been in a multitude of childcare environments, such as classroom lead teacher with a year of special education. As well as full-time nanny positions. Then pursuing a position as A child care center director at St. Andrews Academy grove. Then while in Arkansas, I held the position of a full-time nanny to for an infant. I have now relocated to Texas and I am continuing my education online, in child development not only to pursue further opportunities in the field, but to better be able to understand the mental, physical and mental developmental process kids go through. I am in this field because it gives me peace to know that if I can make one small difference or impact on a child's life, or help a family feel heard or get to resources it is giving them a sense of security. Child Care is more than just a job it is a passion.
