I am currently a tutor at an elementary school and my title is Literacy Specialist. I work for a nonprofit organization called AmeriCorps. I am able to tutor kindergarten through sixth grade. I currently tutor six children, four times a week for 40 minutes. I have to present detailed lesson plans for each session with my children. I have been trained in many areas of tutoring and specialize in language arts. I am able to tutor in other areas as well. I love tutoring children so much! I also volunteered at my school for a semester with a program called Study Buddies. We would help children with their homework after school.
