About Ashley

I am a writer, musician, artist, and athlete with a B. A. in English from the University of Richmond and an M. F. A. in Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. I studied outdoor education at the University of Otago in New Zealand, pottery at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, coaching at Peak Experiences Indoor Rock Climbing Center, and writing tutoring at the University of Richmond Writing Center. I am a published author, competitive athlete, and recorded musician. I am a part-time potter and artist of multiple mediums. I have experience teaching elementary through college students; I have taught as an adjunct professor at John Tyler Community College, the international online academy The Potter's School, and two local homeschool academies, Bridge Academy and Chesterfield Christian Academy. I have experience teaching homeschool students of all ages. I'm here to help!
